Three models with paddles on a pickleball court in SYLA Active organic cotton activewear

From Turkish fields to your first set

Every SYLA piece starts in a cotton field in Turkey, one of the world's great cotton-growing regions and one of the largest producers of certified organic cotton on earth. Here's the journey from that field to your first set.

Grown

Our cotton is cultivated without synthetic pesticides or GMO seed. Organic farming works with the soil rather than against it: crop rotation, natural pest management, and patience.

Certified

The fabric is certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard, the world's leading organic fiber standard. Certification isn't a logo you buy; it's an audit trail, with documentation at every processing step.

Tested

Before it becomes clothing, the finished fabric (95% organic cotton, 5% elastane for stretch) is tested free of harmful substances under OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Traced

Every meter of our fabric travels with a GOTS transaction certificate, the paper trail that connects the fabric back through the mill to certified organic cotton. When we say traceable from farm to fabric, that's the document that makes it true.

Sewn

Our garments are cut and sewn by our manufacturing partner in China, working from that certified Turkish fabric. We believe in telling you exactly where every step happens. It's your body, and your right to know what's on it.
